Christmas Countdown Day 16: Reindeer Food

Our kids love this tradition of Reindeer Food. I first heard of it last year when a friend of ours gave some to the boys for a little gift before Christmas.

There are many ways to do it, but mostly we just use rolled oats and glitter. To be more environmentally friendly, you could use some edible sprinkles.

I've found many different variations of the poem, but here's the idea:

Sprinkle on the lawn at night
The moon will make it sparkle bright
As Santa's reindeer fly and roam
This will guide them to your home.
